Solution · Senior living

The shift Heimaufsicht mandates — run, every night.

Care homes are bound to minimum staffing they cannot fill. werob puts a robot on the medication round, on resident transport and on the night-cover route — logged, compliant and the same every shift.

Solution · Senior living

The staffing floor you cannot meet.

Heimaufsicht sets minimum staffing levels, the labour market does not supply the people, and the night shift carries the gap. The recurring, protocol-bound tasks — the 22:00 medication round, moving residents between room, therapy and dining — are exactly the ones a robot runs reliably, so your nurses stay on care that needs a human.

What the robot runs

01

Medication round

Knocks, waits, hands over the blister on response, otherwise places it and photographs the chart for documentation. Pages the night nurse on no-response. DSGVO scope-limited.

02

Resident transport

Moves residents between room, therapy and dining on a wheelchair-compatible route. Same shift, every day, without tying up a carer.

03

Night cover

Runs the corridor route through the night, escalates exceptions to the duty nurse and ends at the service elevator to charge between 02:00 and 05:00.

Senior-living questions

Is a care robot compatible with Heimaufsicht requirements?
werob scopes every deployment to the regulatory frame: ISO 13482 for personal-care robots, EU 2023/1230 for machinery, and the documentation Heimaufsicht expects. The robot supplements staffing on protocol-bound tasks; it does not replace clinical judgement.
How is resident data handled?
Video and sensor data are encrypted end-to-end with automatic redaction of personal data (PII), processed inside the EU, and access is role-based and fully audit-logged. We do not train models on customer data.
Which care systems does it connect to?
PointClickCare and MatrixCare connectors are pre-built, so charting and documentation flow into the systems your teams already run.
