If you have ever tried to bring a robot into a live operation, you know the feeling: the demo at the manufacturer was impressive, the data sheet flawless. Then the machine is standing in the corridor and nothing fits together. Not the Wi-Fi, not the elevator, not the shift plan, and certainly not the software.

We know this feeling because we have stood there. In operations where shifts go unfilled and teams have been running at their limit for years. And in projects where good hardware waited months for its commissioning.

What frustrated us was never the robotics itself. It was the gap between data sheet and operation: choosing from hundreds of manufacturers, connecting to existing systems, regulation, safety, training. Everything that sits between a good idea and a reliable night shift.

So we built werob.

Not as another manufacturer. And not as a consultancy that hands over a PDF and leaves. But as a systems integrator: a platform and a team that turn a requirement into a specification, the specification into the right system, and the system into a robot that shows up for its shift. In weeks, not years.

We believe Europe's labour shortage is structural. It will not pass. Every unfilled shift in care, hospitality, security or cleaning is a risk for the people who have to absorb the gap. Robotics does not replace those people. It is the relief that is long overdue.

Better operations do not need better brochures. They need robots that reliably run their rounds at six on a Monday morning.
