A note from the founder
If you have ever tried to bring a robot into a live operation, you know the feeling: the demo at the manufacturer was impressive, the data sheet flawless. Then the machine is standing in the corridor and nothing fits together. Not the Wi-Fi, not the elevator, not the shift plan, and certainly not the software.
We know this feeling because we have stood there. In operations where shifts go unfilled and teams have been running at their limit for years. And in projects where good hardware waited months for its commissioning.
What frustrated us was never the robotics itself. It was the gap between data sheet and operation: choosing from hundreds of manufacturers, connecting to existing systems, regulation, safety, training. Everything that sits between a good idea and a reliable night shift.
So we built werob.
Not as another manufacturer. And not as a consultancy that hands over a PDF and leaves. But as a systems integrator: a platform and a team that turn a requirement into a specification, the specification into the right system, and the system into a robot that shows up for its shift. In weeks, not years.
We believe Europe's labour shortage is structural. It will not pass. Every unfilled shift in care, hospitality, security or cleaning is a risk for the people who have to absorb the gap. Robotics does not replace those people. It is the relief that is long overdue.
Better operations do not need better brochures. They need robots that reliably run their rounds at six on a Monday morning.

What werob does
Four layers, from requirement to shift.
The Spec Engine turns a plain-language description of a shift into a specification: a ROS-compatible action graph, ready in 48 hours, produced by a model fine-tuned on more than 35,000 projects. A supplier can quote against that specification. Not a slide deck.
Supplier Match scores our supplier network of more than 44 manufacturers against that specification: regulatory readiness, regional service coverage, integration footprint, price band. You see the top three. Suppliers compete on margin and SLA, never on customer access.
Connectors tie the selected robot into systems operations already run, among them PointClickCare, MatrixCare, Opera PMS, Mews, Toast, Lightspeed, GolfNow, Genetec and SAP EWM. The operations cockpit then shows the live deployment across four dimensions: hardware, infrastructure, regulatory, specification, plus tasks, trainings, escalations and ready reports.
werob builds no hardware of its own in any of this. We stay independent in selection and carry integration responsibility across the hardware boundary, from the first line of the specification to ongoing operations.

In operation are 200 publicly confirmed robots, drawn from a supplier network of more than 44 manufacturers.
Twelve hospitality properties across the EU run with Opera PMS folio wired end-to-end. Forty-two senior-living homes in Germany are Heimaufsicht-compliant in operation, with a cost case in production. On golf courses, one robot covers four routes across a season: driving range, fairway, range service.
From our use-case library, the median across deployments through April 2026: a medication round in senior care saves around 92,000 euros per year and site, suite room service straight from the Opera folio around 112,000 euros. Each entry is a real project with a matched manufacturer, not an extrapolation.
